Michael Miller's album was released this summer, with guest appearances from Pete Yorn, Tracy Bonham, Amy Correia, (and an all-star band of members who also play with Damien Rice, Ray Lamontagne, Beck, Fiona Apple, Foo Fighters, Aimee Mann, Lucinda Williams, Sting, Son Volt, The Pretenders). He's getting airplay on KCRW, XM Sirius/The Loft, RadioParadise, and Bob Paterson's Americana-UK radio show. Michael has been touring the US and UK with Amy Correia and Minnie Driver, while sharing the larger stage with Daniel Lanois, Pete Yorn, Ron Sexsmith, Shawn Mullins, Tracy Bonham, Duncan Sheik, Tom Morello. Beth Thornley has been featured in several influential magazines, including American Songwriter, Hallmark Magazine, Keyboard, and Paste Magazine. Her songs have been featured in TV and film, including Friday Night Lights, The Hills, Life, Dawson's Creek, Everwood, and Scrubs, as well as numerous films such as The Perfect Man (Hillary Duff), Between, Play the Game. Beth has (twice) won the top 10 song award in the /USA Songwriting Competition/ and was a semi-finalist in the prestigious/ International Songwriting Competition .Beth's latest album (Wash U Clean) will be released March 1st. It’s in the seemingly effortless ease with which he delivers his conversational lyrics and mellifluous melodies, this natural magic that is at the heart of Tom Freund’s music. Though he’s well-schooled and widely-traveled in a variety of genres -- from hearftelt folk to buoyant pop to boho jazz to straightforward rock ’n’ roll, and beyond -- Freund ultimately comes across simply as a singer-songwriter with his own singularly distinctive and engaging voice.

The Alternative Cafe
Providing a showcase for all of BoundWord’s endeavors and a venue for interacting with our community. Art openings every six weeks featuring a mix of local artists, city artists and the artists art-f/x publishes. Local meetings, functions, seminars and classes will make use of the gallery space. But the alternative cafe is much more than just a gallery, as the name suggests it is also a cafe.
